A Splash of Joy: Product Spotlight on 3 Original Paintings

Let’s be honest – the world could always do with a bit more beauty. Enter REVERIES, DAYDREAMS, and CONTEMPLATIONS – a trio of original abstract floral paintings here to lift your spirits and brighten your walls, without demanding that you overthink a single brushstroke...

Created lovingly in layers (a LOT of layers - seriously, they took me a long time 😄) using mixed media (but mostly good old acrylic paint) on paper, these pieces were inspired by the pure, uncomplicated joy of nature.

You know that peaceful feeling when you've escaped the inbox, the dishes and the general to-do list of doom, and instead find yourself under a big sky surrounded by flowers and fresh air? That’s the mood I was channelling when I painted these.

REVERIES

REVERIES is like the first sip of a cold G&T in a blooming garden. With its splashes of teal, bursts of pink, and dreamy floral vibes, this piece invites your mind to wander somewhere soft, warm, and infinitely more relaxing than at your desk. It’s like a visual deep breath.

DAYDREAMS

DAYDREAMS is the heart of this trio – full of light, texture, and that glorious barely-contained chaos that makes wildflowers so enchanting. Whites and yellows mingle with pinks and blues, layered and dappled like sun through leaves. It's not trying to say anything highbrow– it’s just here to make your day a bit lovelier!

CONTEMPLATIONS

And finally, CONTEMPLATIONS – the quiet thinker of the group. Cool blues, soft whites, and hints of blush come together in a serene wash of colour that whispers, “You’re doing your best, and that’s more than enough.” It’s calm that you can frame and hang on your wall!

Art Without the Homework

There’s no hidden message, no social commentary, no cryptic symbolism lurking in the brushwork. These paintings were made simply to be beautiful – like a gorgeous flower arrangement for your wall. They don’t ask for your interpretation; they’re here to make your space a little happier and a lot more "you" without asking anything in return...

Nature Made Me Do It

It might sound a bit clichéd, but I really do find peace and clarity in nature, and I want to bottle up that feeling and splash it across canvas. These works are little visual reminders that things don’t have to be complicated to be wonderful.
