Exhibiting at a Pop-up Art Gallery in Bishop's Stortford
Share
I recently applied to exhibit in a pop-up art gallery in Bishop's Stortford and was very excited to be chosen from quite a large number of applicants!
The pop-up is in 31 Jackson Square (opposite Clarks Shoes) and will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 4pm throughout March 2025. It's been organised by Daniel Potter of Sawbridgeworth Antiques & Interiors and he's done a fabulous job.
We had the preview evening on Friday 28th February, and it was fantastic. The Mayor of Sawbridgeworth, Bishop's Stortford's MP and the actor Roger Griffiths all attended, and there was a really good turnout . (I must confess I didn't know who Roger Griffiths was at the time, but he was really nice and we had a great chat 😄)
It was great to speak to the people who came about my art face to face, but the best part was meeting some of the other artists, who were absolutely lovely. I felt honoured to be exhibiting alongside such a talented bunch!
Here are a few photos from the evening...

If you're in the area, or fancy a day out one weekend this month, you really should pop by. Daniel made sure to choose a wide variety of art styles, so there is something for everyone - whether you prefer paintings or photography, portraits or landscapes, abstract or more realistic art, or something in between...
I'm exhibiting 10 original paintings at the pop-up... here are some photos of my display:

Anything that's still available after the pop-up is finished will be added to my website, so if Bishop's Stortford really is too far for you to travel, you may be able to buy anything that takes your fancy then.
Otherwise, I hope to see you there!
